The London Marathon will become a digital marathon in 2015. Long-distance runners everywhere in the world can experience the pleasure of "competing" in London on the treadmill. According to organizers, participants can download applications from tablets or smartphones and install them on special treadmills to experience the real London Marathon track and run through famous scenic spots such as Buckingham Palace, Greenwich Park and Tower Bridge. "Imagine that you can hear the cheers of the people from the starting point, run over the famous landmarks and experience the unique atmosphere of the competition without leaving the house," said Race Director Brachel. He added: "Over the years, about two million applicants have failed to qualify because of the tight quota. Digital London Marathon can help them realize their dream of competing.
